Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Eliventa handles information when you use the Eliventa mobile application, including growth profiles, measurements, habits, reports, advertisements, purchases, backups, and feedback.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Eliventa mobile application (“Eliventa,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Eliventa is currently designed as an offline-first application. Most information entered into the App is stored locally on the user’s device rather than in an Eliventa-operated online database.
This policy does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party platforms and services used by the App, such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Google Mobile Ads, or the user’s selected email, cloud-storage, or file-sharing provider.
2. Information handled by Eliventa
2.1 Growth profile information
The App may allow a user or parent/guardian to enter information such as:
- Name or nickname;
- Date of birth or age;
- Biological sex used for the selected growth reference chart;
- Current and historical height and weight;
- Mother’s and father’s height, when voluntarily provided;
- Habit information such as sleep, hydration, nutrition, and activity;
- Notes, profile preferences, report settings, and unit preferences.
2.2 Generated information
- Body mass index (BMI);
- Growth-chart percentiles and z-scores;
- Measurement trends and growth charts;
- A broad family-height estimate when parental heights are provided;
- Habit completion summaries and educational recommendations.
2.3 Technical and commercial information
Third-party SDKs or app stores may process technical or commercial information, such as device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, diagnostic information, ad interactions, purchase status, and transaction identifiers. The exact information depends on the enabled service, device settings, consent choices, and applicable platform rules.
3. How information is used
- Create and manage local family or child profiles;
- Calculate and display growth-related educational reports;
- Show measurement history, charts, trends, and habit summaries;
- Remember preferences and restore the App’s local state;
- Create user-requested backup or export files;
- Provide advertisements to eligible free users;
- Process and restore premium purchases through an app store;
- Open a user-selected email or sharing application for feedback or exports;
- Improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect the App against misuse.
Eliventa does not sell locally stored growth profile information.
4. Local storage and offline operation
Growth profiles, measurements, habits, preferences, and reports are primarily stored on the user’s device. They are not automatically uploaded to an Eliventa-operated server in the current offline version.
Local data may still be lost if the user clears the App’s storage, uninstalls the App without first exporting a backup, resets or loses the device, or if the device storage becomes damaged. Users should regularly use the App’s backup/export facility when the stored history is important.
App updates are designed to preserve existing local information through additive data migrations. Eliventa will not intentionally erase profile history during a normal application update.
5. Third-party services
Eliventa may integrate third-party services. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
| Service category | Purpose | Possible information handled |
|---|---|---|
| Google Mobile Ads / AdMob | Display ads to eligible free users | Advertising identifiers, device data, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location |
| Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase | Process and restore purchases | Product ID, transaction ID, purchase status, and store account-related information handled by the platform |
| In-app review service | Display the platform’s review prompt | Review activity is handled by the relevant app store |
| Email, share, and file picker applications | Send feedback or import/export a backup selected by the user | Content intentionally selected or shared by the user |
| Package and device utilities | Check app version and support compatibility features | App version, operating-system details, and limited technical information |
Before release, the App’s Google Play Data safety declaration and this Privacy Policy should be reviewed together so that they accurately match the final SDKs and data practices.
6. Advertising
The free version of Eliventa may display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads or another disclosed advertising provider. Depending on the user’s region, age, device settings, and consent selections, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
Where required, the App will request consent before using advertising identifiers or personalized advertising. Users may also be able to control advertising personalization through their device or Google account settings.
Premium or lifetime-entitlement users may receive an ad-free experience according to the product description shown at the time of purchase.
7. In-app purchases and subscriptions
Eliventa may offer a one-time Lifetime Premium purchase, a monthly Plus subscription, and a yearly Plus subscription.
Payments are processed by Google Play or Apple, not directly by Eliventa. We do not receive or store a user’s complete payment-card details. The app store may provide purchase status and transaction information so the App can unlock, maintain, or restore an entitlement.
Expiration or cancellation of a subscription will not intentionally delete the user’s locally stored profiles, measurements, or habit history.
8. Backup, export, and restore
Eliventa may allow users to create a backup containing locally stored profile, measurement, habit, and preference information. A backup is created only when requested by the user.
When a user exports or shares a backup, the destination application or storage provider selected by the user may receive that file. Eliventa does not control the privacy or security practices of that destination.
Backup files may contain sensitive personal or health-related information. Users should store them in a secure location, avoid publicly sharing them, and delete obsolete copies when no longer needed.
9. Feedback, support, and app reviews
When a user chooses to send feedback or report a problem, Eliventa may open the device’s email application with information entered by the user. The user can review and edit the message before sending it.
Information sent by email may include the message, selected category, optional screenshot or attachment, app version, and limited technical details. It will be used to respond to the request, troubleshoot the issue, and improve the App.
Public reviews submitted through Google Play or the Apple App Store are handled by those platforms and may be visible publicly according to their rules.
10. Children and teenagers
Eliventa may be used by parents or guardians to track the growth of children and teenagers. Because date of birth, height, weight, and related growth information can be sensitive, a parent or legal guardian should supervise use by younger children and provide information only when legally permitted.
The current offline version does not require a child to create an online Eliventa account. Profile information is primarily stored on the device. However, third-party advertising, app-store, email, or sharing services may process data independently.
Before making the App child-directed or listing it in a children/families category, the developer must confirm that every advertising and analytics SDK used is permitted for that audience and configure age-appropriate ad treatment.
11. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored information remains on the device until the user deletes a profile, clears App data, restores a backup that replaces or merges records, or uninstalls the App.
Users can delete local information through the App’s profile and data-management controls. Uninstalling the App generally removes its private local storage, but exported backups remain wherever the user saved or shared them.
Feedback sent by email may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, comply with legal duties, prevent abuse, and maintain support records.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the information handled by the App. These may include application-private storage, controlled file access, validation of imported backups, and secure platform purchase mechanisms.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their device with an appropriate screen lock and securely storing any exported backup.
13. Your privacy choices and rights
- Access information stored about them;
- Correct inaccurate profile information;
- Delete local profiles and associated records;
- Export a portable backup of their information;
- Withdraw consent for optional processing;
- Control personalized advertising through consent and device settings;
- Request information about support data previously sent to us.
Most local-data rights can be exercised directly through the App. For support information held outside the device, users may contact us using the details below.
14. International use and reference data
Eliventa may be used internationally. Growth-chart results may use publicly available reference data from organizations such as the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC reference charts represent specific reference populations and should not be treated as universal diagnostic standards.
Eliventa is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the CDC, the World Health Organization, or any government health authority.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, SDKs, data practices, legal requirements, or business operations change. The updated policy will display a new “Last updated” date.
Material changes may be communicated through an in-app notice, store release notes, or another appropriate method. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy where permitted by law.
